Webdesign, Colour, Typography
Client: Franziska Nast, Hamburg
Franziska Nast deals with "forms of metamorphosis". Nast draws, collages, makes sculptures. Within her artistic work she picks up repeating motifs. Also linguistic/ typographic words and sentences. Word scraps repeat themselves, are taken up and continued.
The conception and design of the website included the task of presenting the great amount of her work and to show correlations to each other. On the other hand, the site also serves the purpose of transparency and should help to navigate through the extensive work.
As a result, we decided on both: the possibility to get lost, to click from one work to another in order to discover things on one's own. Each time someone reloads the page, other works push their way to the front. One can click from project to project. Works that relate to each other are linked within the navigation system.
For a quicker and more targeted use of the site, there is an archive structured by year numbers as well as a search function.
